On June 3, 2026, the 19th SNEC International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). As one of the world's most influential photovoltaic and energy industry events, SNEC 2026 brought together leading companies, industry experts, and partners from across the global renewable energy value chain to explore emerging trends and opportunities in the new energy sector.
As an innovative technology enterprise specializing in core components for the renewable energy industry, Sun.King Technology presented its self-developed IGBT and SiC chips and modules, laminated busbars, integrated busbars, and power electronic capacitors. The company’s latest innovations in photovoltaic, energy storage, and power electronics integration attracted significant attention from visitors and industry professionals.
Against the backdrop of the global energy transition and carbon neutrality initiatives, photovoltaic and energy storage technologies have become key pillars in the development of modern power systems. Leveraging strong in-house R&D capabilities, Sun.King Technology demonstrated a comprehensive portfolio of high-performance products designed for renewable energy applications. The company’s advanced semiconductor devices and power electronic components drew widespread interest from customers and partners worldwide, highlighting Sun.King’s technological leadership and innovation strength in the new energy industry.
During the exhibition, Sun.King showcased a full spectrum of power semiconductor products covering both IGBT and SiC technology platforms. The portfolio includes IGBT modules in ED, ST, EP, BEVD, FP, and TF package series, SiC modules in HEEV and EVD packages, as well as self-developed IGBT and diode chips. These products support the industry's mainstream voltage platforms of 1050V, 1200V, and 1700V.
Designed for photovoltaic central inverters, string inverters, commercial and industrial energy storage systems, and other key applications, the product portfolio addresses power requirements ranging from residential-scale systems to utility-scale power plants, reflecting Sun.King’s deep understanding of market demands and extensive technological expertise.
In addition to semiconductor products, Sun.King also exhibited its self-developed laminated busbars, integrated busbars, and power electronic capacitors. The laminated busbars have earned strong recognition from international customers due to their high reliability and compact design, serving applications in UHV transmission, renewable energy generation, and industrial drive systems. The integrated busbar solutions combine electrical connection, current and temperature sensing, and structural support functions into a compact, highly integrated architecture suitable for various battery cell configurations.
Power electronic capacitors represent another flagship product line of Sun.King Technology. Widely used in renewable energy, energy storage, industrial drives, and HVDC transmission systems, these capacitors have been successfully deployed in more than 20 UHVDC transmission projects. Notably, Sun.King’s DC support capacitors have achieved three industry-first milestones in China: the first to pass independent third-party certification, the first to achieve large-scale grid operation, and the first to realize comprehensive domestic substitution of imported products. In the world’s first UHV flexible DC transmission project connecting Gansu and Zhejiang, Sun.King’s domestically developed DC support capacitors accounted for 75% of the installed domestic products.
As the global energy landscape continues to evolve and the photovoltaic and energy storage markets expand rapidly, Sun.King Technology remains committed to its mission of “Driving Green Energy Development Through Technological Innovation.” The company will continue to advance power semiconductor and high-end power electronics technologies, supporting the construction of modern power systems and contributing to the global transition toward a greener and more sustainable energy future.
