From July 10 to 13, the 24th IET International Conference on AC and DC Power Transmission (ACDC 2026) was held in Beijing, co-hosted by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Tsinghua University and Huairou Laboratory. As a long-standing, top-tier flagship academic and industrial event in the global field of AC and DC power transmission, the conference centered on core hot topics including the construction of new power systems, grid integration of high-proportion renewable energy, and technological innovation of AC/DC power grids. It brought together academicians, leading scientific researchers and representatives of top power enterprises worldwide to conduct in-depth discussions on development paths for power transmission technological innovation, industrial upgrading and low-carbon energy transition in the new era, building a high-end platform for exchange and cooperation to drive technological iteration and coordinated development of the global power and energy sector.
