Study on the Heat Dissipation Model and Simulation of Circular Element for DC-link Capacitor is co-authored by Zuo Qianglin, Lei Qiaoshu from Wuxi SUN.KING and Zhong Shaolong, Zhang Yongxin, and Dang Zhimin from Tsinghua University. The article focuses on the continuous expansion of the application scope of self-healing dry metallized film capacitor, pointing out that its heat dissipation method and internal temperature rise have become important theoretical and engineering challenges. Based on the heating law of circular elements of DC link capacitor, this paper deeply analyzes the heat flux distribution when the cylindrical capacitor element is uniformly heated, and establishes a circular element thermal calculation model based on the electrothermal dual principle. Through differential unit integration, the thermal resistance calculation formula of the circular element is derived. Finally, the accuracy of the heat calculation model is verified by experiment, and a verification method for the thermal calculation of circular elements is proposed, which provides important theoretical and experimental references for the heating problem of circular elements of DC link capacitor.
