Recently, Astrol, the Swiss subsidiary of Sun.King Technology, achieved a significant milestone by collaborating with renowned European maritime systems integrator Kongsberg Maritime.

On August 13, Wuxi Sunking Power Capacitor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Wuxi SUN.KIN), a subsidiary of SUN.KIN Technology Group, independently developed three capacitor products: "Low-noise capacitor for ultra-high voltage DC transmission projects", "Seismic intensity 9-degree capacitor banks for ultra-high voltage DC transmission projects" and "Parallel capacitor devices TBB66-60000-500-AQ (W) for flexible DC transmission projects". They successfully passed the new product appraisal.

The i23 series chip set adopts advanced micro-pattern trench IGBT technology, delivering lower saturation voltage (V_CE(sat)), higher current density, and reduced switching losses.

On September 25, 2025, the disassembly and analysis witness and summary meeting for the type test prototype of the ±800kV Gansu-Zhejiang Ultra High Voltage (UHV) Flexible DC Transmission Project (referred to as the Gansu-Zhejiang Project) was successfully held at Jiaxing Sun.King Capacitor Co., Ltd. Representatives and experts from the State Grid UHV Department, State Grid Equipment Department, State Grid UHV Company, State Grid DC Technology Center, State Grid Gansu Company, State Grid Zhejiang Company, State Grid Energy Research Institute (State Grid DC Transmission Co., Ltd.), China Electric Power Research Institute, Xi’an High Voltage Electrical Research Institute, Xidian Electric Power System Co., Ltd., and China Electric Power Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd., along with leaders from Sun.King Technology, gathered both online and offline to witness this milestone moment in the localization of flexible DC transmission equipment.

Recently, Wuxi Sun.King Power Capacitor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Wuxi Sun.King”), a subsidiary of Sun.King Technology, held a shipping ceremony to officially commence delivery of power capacitors for the Baotashan ±800kV Converter Station, part of the Shanbei–Anhui ±800kV ultra-high-voltage direct current (UHVDC) transmission project.

On August 26, 2025, the group standard “Electrical Properties and Evaluation Methods of Metallized Film for DC Capacitors in Flexible DC Transmission Systems” (Project No. CESBZ2024018), led by Wuxi Sun.King Power Capacitor Co., Ltd. in collaboration with Tsinghua University, Xi’an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute Co., Ltd., and 10 other leading enterprises in film-drawing and coating, successfully passed the final review organized by the China Electrotechnical Society.
